MOREHEAD/ROWAN COUNTY/CAVE RUN LAKE Cave Run Lake, called Kentucky's "best kept secret" comprises 8,300 acres and is becoming the musky fishing capital of the South. It also supports a population of bass, bluegill and crappie. The Lake has two large, modern campgrounds, beaches, lakeshore picnic areas, hiking, boat ramps and fishing points.
