JEFFERSONTOWN GASLIGHT FESTIVAL

JIM BEAM AMERICAN OUTPOST MUSEUM
The Beam family began distilling bourbon in Kentucky in 1795. The same formula has been used by six generations of Beam family distillers. Today/ the distillery remains the oldest continuing business in the state. The Outpost tour includes the T. Jeremiah Beam home/ a film on the history of the Beam family and bourbon making, and the Cooperage Museum. You can also purchase Jim Beam merchandise at the Outpost store. KENTUCKY DERBY MUSEUM
"A Derby Lover's Dream." Tour the museum and see a 360-degree Multi-Image Presentation, "The Greatest Race," every hour on the half-hour. See videos of every Derby ever recorded. Churchill Downs tours every hour after the show. Gift Shop and Derby Cafe, 9am-5pm every Ray. Adults (13-59) $6; Sr. Citizens (60+) $5; Children (5-12) $2; Under 5 Free. LOUISVILLE ZOO
The zoo features over 1200 animals in 130 naturalistic exhibits. Open daily, year round! 10am-5pm Apr.-Labor Day; Twilight Hours June-Aug., W-T-F, 10am-8pm. Features include new African Petting Zoo, with walk through forest aviary near the Islands Village with Orangutans, Sumatran Tigers, Tapirs and other animals from islands around the world.
