JIM BEAM AMERICAN OUTPOST MUSEUM The Beam family began distilling bourbon in Kentucky in 1795. The same formula has been used by six generations of Beam family distillers. Today/ the distillery remains the oldest continuing business in the state. The Outpost tour includes the T. Jeremiah Beam home/ a film on the history of the Beam family and bourbon making, and the Cooperage Museum. You can also purchase Jim Beam merchandise at the Outpost store.
